Animal and Monster Hand (Temporary) Tattoos

As an adult, I often get so wrapped up in life that I forget how to be a kid (don't we all?). So I cherish those moments when I just let go and have a gigglefest, and act like I'm 5 again.

I think these temporary tattoos would fit the bill, don't you?

There are several places to bring these whimsical critters home, but the cheapest I've found is at Pop Deluxe. (Only $6.99! For that price you could bring both home).

Now you just have to wrestle the kids for your favorite.

DIY Play Kitchen

Happy Thursday!

This definitely isn't a new one, but I just found this awesome awesome DIY play kitchen build entirely out of scrap wood and other IKEA finds.

Isn't it fabulous?  Christmas is only 4 months away (!), so if you have/know a kiddie who needs a kitchen, click here for detailed instructions.

Art with Kids

I, like many other bloggers, am a mom of young children. Between my mom responsibilities, work, and housework, it's really really difficult to make time for my own creative endeavors. I've found the best way to get my creative fix is to BE creative with my kids.

Thinking of my own project takes time and energy I don't often have. Thank goodness for the Internet! Without further ado, here are some other online projects I've found that I can't wait to try with my kids:

(Note: This one looks a bit more grown up, but the photo transfer is done with mod podge, and would be easy to translate into a kids' art project. See her links below the post for more ideas).

For an excellent resource, I highly (HIGHLY) recommend the book The Creative Family by Amanda Soule. Her blog is a wonderful resource, as well.
